For the Senior operations manager Atelier September (A. S), we are looking for an experienced person and enthusiast who understands our vision and philosophy and wants to step up on an entrepreneurial journey along with us by leading the business towards a more stable, professional, and expandable state.

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the development of the products and offers in close cooperation with the Head chef
  • Driving strategic expansion of A. S in form of additional branches
  • Leading Managers and ensuring smooth operations for the day-to-day business
  • Developing talents and taking full ownership of leading a young and dynamic team
  • Positioning A. S as an exemplary place when it comes to quality, guest relations and sustainability

 

Tasks

Operations

  • Leading Management Team to conduct all processes and ensuring high level of motivation/service level
  • Maintaining all critical relationships (B2B customers, landlord, local community, authorities, etc.)
  • Selection of retail items, negotiation with suppliers and ensuring optimal ordering processes
  • Production planning and optimization in close cooperation with the Head chef
  • Responsibility for the procurement and maintenance of all permits & licenses

 

People

  • Resource and work planning for the entire A. S team
  • Recruitment and training of personnel
  • Conduct regular feedback meetings with employees
  • Define and implement succession planning for expanding the business

 

Finance

  • Checking sales & cost analytics and taking corrective action if necessary
  • Management of budget and financial plans as well as expenditure control
  • Ensuring compliance in cash and inventory handling

 

Communication

  • Management of all communication and marketing activities together with Frederik and Tue
  • Positioning of A. S as a place which provides a unique offering between culture & cooking

 

Qualifications

 

  • Manager with at least 3 years of experience in the hospitality industry in Copenhagen
  • Experience in building and leading a team
  • Attention to how details feed a bigger vision
  • Entrepreneurially gifted and curious to explore & experiment
  • Very good written and oral communication skills in German and English
