In 2013 at a former gallery on Gothersgade, Frederik Bille Brahe opened Atelier September, a little oasis of calm in the very center of the city.
Atelier September is a Copenhagen café that seamlessly blends culinary vegetarian artistry with a deep appreciation for art and design. Now, located in the heart of the city; Kronprinsessegade, Nordhavn and Hellerup each place offers a serene space where food, aesthetics, and culture converge. If you find yourself eating at Atelier September, you might be served eggs on a 150-year-old Etruscan plate.
The menu highlights fresh, simple and seasonal ingredients and offers ‘daytime-dishes’, including signatures as the; ‘Avocado mad’, 'Breakfast Plate', 'Granola and berries' and 'Kyoto grapefruit'.
With calm interiors and a thoughtful approach, Atelier September offers more than meals; it invites a slower, more intentional way of gathering.

A.S has grown from strength to strength over the years since, with an incredible list of people who have worked with us, many of whom have made a strong imprint in the dna of the café as well as regulars who have visited since the beginning.
We are very proud to work with some of the best producers and importers in Denmark. Ranging across food and drink they include Birkemosegaard, Søtofte, Hegnsholt, Klippingegaard, Søndergård, Kornby Mølle, Natoora, Lieu-dit, Rosforth & Rosforth, Bornholms Kildevand, April Coffee to mention a few.
