Stoneware cups by ceramicist Anna Mors, with a hand-painted blue flower. They have been thrown and fired in Copenhagen and glazed and fired in a wood fired anagama kiln at the Danish island Bornholm.
During the 24-hour firing, each cup has been exposed to different temperatures and varying amounts of ash and salt, resulting in unique glaze reactions on every piece. Some surfaces are glossier and more fluid, while others appear more matte and textured. This is why every cup is unique and cannot be reproduced exactly.
The cups are dishwasher safe, but it is recommended to wash them by hand, as rapid temperature changes over time may cause tension in the ceramic body and glaze.
