Atelier September: A place for daytime cooking is Frederik Bille Brahe’s second cookbook, following All the Stuff We Cooked. Edited by Jeni Porter with photography by Rasmus Weng Karlsen, it features 86 vibrant recipes centred around Frederik’s internationally renowned Copenhagen restaurant, Atelier September. With ideas for breakfast, lunch, sweets, and A.S staples, recipes are mostly vegetarian with a focus on combining fresh, seasonal ingredients. Atelier September is punctuated by archival photos and poetic interludes called ‘verbs’ to transmit its more ephermeral qualities. ‘This is a blueprint, you could say, for how to live a good life, eat well, and be happy’.
